2. What data we collect

Contact data you send us by email, WhatsApp or a contact form: name, company, email, phone and the content of your message.
Technical data collected automatically by our hosting provider when you visit the site, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, kept in server logs for security.

3. Why we use it and legal basis

To answer your requests and prepare proposals (pre-contractual measures, art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
To manage contracts with clients and partners (art. 6(1)(b)) and meet tax and legal obligations (art. 6(1)(c)).
To keep the website secure (legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(f)).

We do not sell your data and do not use it for automated decision-making.

4. Who receives it

Our hosting and email providers, our accountant and professional advisors, and, only when needed for your project, partners such as logistics or banking partners. Some providers may process data outside the EU under the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact. Contract and accounting records are kept for 10 years as required by Italian law. Server logs are kept for a short period set by the hosting provider.

6. Cookies and third-party services

This website uses only technical storage needed for it to work: your browser remembers the currency pair you last chose in the converter. We do not use profiling or advertising cookies.

To show live information, your browser connects directly to: Google Fonts (fonts), Open-Meteo (weather for the cities we work in) and ExchangeRate-API (daily exchange rates). These services receive your IP address as part of the request. No personal data is sent by us.

AI assistant. If you use the chat assistant, your messages are sent to Anthropic (the provider of the Claude AI model) only to write the answers; we do not use them for profiling. Please do not share sensitive data in the chat. The conversation is kept only in your browser until you close the tab.

If we add analytics or marketing tools in future, we will ask for your consent first through a cookie banner, as required by the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante) guidelines.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, object to its use, or receive it in a portable format (arts. 15–22 GDPR) by writing to nayaz@capecavez.it. You can also complain to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page.
